8:30 am Celebration of the Holy Mass Sept. 26/22 - Good morning and welcome to the celebration of the Holy Mass. Today, in Canada, we celebrate the feast of St. Jean De Brebeuf and St. Isaac Jogues, priests, companions and martyrs. Our Psalm refrain for today is: "Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy". Our readings today speak of faith and trust in the Lord. It is our relationship with the Lord that will help us to go through any trials or sufferings that we may endure and in the end, the Lord promises us a place with him forever. We are reminded that we have this treasure in earthen vessels. Our strength and our courage comes from the Lord. Let us persevere and not give up. The grain of wheat must fall before it bears much fruit but through it all, the Lord is with us. Jesus, thank you for your presence and support in our lives.

7:00 pm Celebration of the Holy Mass Sept. 25/22 - Good evening and welcome to the celebration of the Holy Mass for this Twenty-Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time. The theme of our readings for today cause us to reflect upon how committed we are to our walk with the Lord and how we treat people, especially those who are less fortunate than us. As we examine our conscience, we can look at what takes priority in our lives. Is it material goods or spiritual goods? There is nothing wrong with acquiring things in our lives as long as it does not take priority over our relationship with the Lord. As we spend time with the Lord and discover what is on his heart for each one of us, our consciences will also tell us that our deeds and actions are important as well. Our eyes will be open to those around us who are in need and how it is that we are to share with them. Lord Jesus, show us the way!

12:30 am Celebration of Holy Mass - September 25, 2022 - Given today's reading, it's a good time to examine how we treat people who are less fortunate than we are. The truth is, we cannot take care of everyone's needs. But we can ask the Lord to help us see people through his eyes. We can try to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit showing us a need. And we can trust that if we feel God is asking us to do something, he will give us the grace to respond.
