Faith Formation Groups/Programs

“To the thirsty I will give water as a gift from the spring of the water of life.” (Rev 21:6)

 The Catholic-Christian life is a journey. From the moment of our baptism we are pilgrims in this world, nourished by the sacraments and strengthened by the Church. Faith formation is not a one-time event but, rather, an enduring commitment to living and growing in our Christian faith. We learn to conform our lives to Christ as we journey towards our final destination: union with God.

Whether you are a new Catholic, a returning Catholic, or just curious to know more and expand your knowledge and faith, you are welcome at OLPH!

OLPH offers many opportunities for adult faith formation and fellowship. Some groups meet regularly (weekly or monthly) to grow in their Catholic faith through community, prayer and study. These include:

• Bible Study
• Ecumenical Mission
• Prayer Groups
• Mary’s Servants for Christ

Throughout the year, our GiFT Committee (Growing in Faith Together) offers many programs, lectures, workshops, and discussion nights to guide you in your faith journey. Some of these, like Alpha and Catholicism 101, are offered regularly to provide a solid foundation for the journey. Others are one-time events, special presentations or courses that can enrich and expand your life of faith.
