The Sacrament of Reconciliation is now celebrated prior to First Communion, usually when a child is in Grade 2. Preparation for and celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation takes place in the fall of the year.

There will be a First Reconciliation and First Communion meeting on Wednesday, October 10 at 7:00pm at OLPH church. This meeting is for parents only.  The registration fee, which covers the cost of the preparation booklets, "We Prepare for Reconciliation" and "We Share in the Eucharist" plus other materials, is $30.00  Please bring cash or a cheque.  The books will be available at the parent-orientation meeting.  If your child was NOT baptized at OLPH please bring in a copy of their baptism certificate.

First Reconciliation Retreat:

In addition to the parent meeting there is a Reconciliation retreat for the parent and child.  You may choose either:

• Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 1:00 – 3:30 pm

        OR

Reconciliation Celebrations: Saturday November 24, 2011 at 9:00 am for FKK, HR, JV, OLPH & 10:30 am for HS, Mad, St. L, St. T.

 First Eucharist (Communion) Retreat:

In addition to the parent meeting there is Communion retreat for the parent and child.  You may choose either: 

• Saturday, January 27, 2013 at 1:00 – 3:30 pm

     OR

• Sunday, February 3, 2013 at 1:00-3:30pm

These retreats will take place at OLPH Church.
