Confirmation
Confirmation is one of the Sacraments of Initiation, Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. In this parish, Confirmation is usually celebrated when a child is in grade 6.
Confirmation Celebrations: 7:00 pm at OLPH Parish
Tues. May 10: FKK, HR, JV, OLPH, public schools, and home-schooled children
Wed. May 11: HS, Mad, St. L, & ST.T
A Registration and Orientation meeting for parents will take place on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 7:00 pm in the Parish Hall. It is required that all parents be present at this meeting.
The deadline for registration is Oct. 15/10. By this date all baptism certificates, even if baptized at OLPH, and confirmation sponsor names must be submitted.
Two retreats for candidates, parents, and sponsors are held on Saturday, March 19:
1st retreat: 9:00 am – 12 noon
2nd retreat: 1:00 – 4:00 pm
*Choose the time that is convenient for you.
A potluck lunch will be shared by both groups between 12 and 1:00 pm.
Parent-Candidate Sessions: Six parent-candidate sessions will be held, one a month, according to the schedule below. All sessions will be held in the Church this year. Choose the one that is convenient for you.

A retreat will be held on Saturday March 19. You have a choice of 9:00 am to 12 noon or 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
Confirmation workbooks will be available at the Parent Meeting. The cost of the workbook plus materials is $15.00. As the parish does not keep any change on the site, please bring the exact amount or a cheque made payable to OLPH Parish.
